Books from Children International were turned over to DepED Gingoog City today in a ceremony held at Gingoog City Comprehensive National High School. There were 26,000 books in a container van.

SDS Samson and other DepED Officials attended the turn-over. Mr. Domingo Buenaflor from Children International was also present.

Eureka Integrated School was established in 2005 to give Eureka elementary graduates a chance to proceed to high school without travelling to Kalipay NHS or to the city of Gingoog, which would mean additional expenses, which many of the parents there cannot afford. The first school head of the Integrated School was Mr. Edgardo V. Abanil, Principal I who was transferred from Sio-an Elementary School to manage the newly-opened integrated school. One teacher item was given and the first high school teacher was Ms. Farah Abucay who handled 85 learners. Later on, additional items were given and the number of teachers rose to 5. TWO CLASSROOMS JUST COMPLETED IN GINGOOG CITY

Two single - storey classrooms one in Agay-ayan Elementary School and the other in Alfonso Ang Militante Elementary School were recently completed, keys turned over by the contractor to the school head. These two projects are part of the 2011 Basic Education Educational Facilities (BEFF)which is aimed at mitigating classroom shortages. These leave only two projects all two-storeys 4 classroom buildings at Gingoog City Comprehansive National High School and the other one at Don Restituto Baol Central School to be completed soon. The BEFF CY 2011 school building projects cost more than Ten Million Pesos.

THE NEWLY-COMPLETED THREE STOREY SCHOOL BUILDING AT DON RESTITUTO BAOL CENTRAL SCHOOL

Begun in 2007, the three-storey fifteen classroom school building finally stood proud on December 18, 2010 in the middle of the former wooden classrooms, part of which were already demolished for being so dilapidated. This design is the first of its kind in Mindanao. The other 18 CL in Gingoog City Comprehensive National High School was built by the Provincial Giovernment of Misamis Oriental, with counterpart from the City Government of Gingoog City.
